Youth: FURY
FURY in the URC context does not relate to an anger management class but rather the Fellowship of the United Reformed Youth.
All young people associated with the URC aged between 11 and 25 are currently automatically members of FURY be they attendees of an URC youth group, a member/adherent of a URC, a Pilot, a Guide or a Scout or a Girls or Boys' Brigadier.
So you might be a Fury person and not even know it!! However there are many ways to become involved in FURY and meet with other 11-25 year olds from all over the UK.
FURY's mission is to discover God, to help each other grow in the Christian Faith, and through our lives reflect God's love to all.
The annual FURY Assembly is an opportunity for Furyites to come together to debate issues important to them, elect people to take up posts on FURY Council (who work on behalf of FURY Assembly throughout the year), to have a laugh, to attend workshops and activities, to fellowship and worship together.
Each Area sends two representatives plus one observer. If you're interested in attending this event contact your minister or Synod Office.
