This Sunday we feature worship from St Ninian's Church, Stonehouse in our South Link which will be led by the Revd Stewart Cutler.  St Ninian's is a Local Ecumenical Partnership (LEP) with the Church of Scotland.  Stewart has offered the following background information about their ministry and mission,

"St Ninian’s is a church at the heart of the community of Stonehouse and so our primary response has been the care and wellbeing of our village. St Ninian’s hosts the local Coronavirus Support Group, assisting with shopping, prescriptions and grass cutting for people who are shielding and gathers weekly food bank collections.

We have tried to continue the regular life of the church, moving almost all of what we did in our building to online platforms. Our worship is shared across a range of platforms, and many of our groups have been using zoom, including Sunday school, Morning Prayers on Tuesday and Thursday, bible study, cafe church, family quizzes and committee meetings. We’ve been delighted to welcome new participants from around the community, the synod and even further afield. We keep in touch with all our members through a phone tree and encourage people to stop for a cuppa on Tuesday mornings when our coffee morning would have been on to make a brew and phone a friend."

You can find out more about the church from their website https://www.st-ninians-stonehouse.org.uk

The service on Sunday will be available on Facebook from 10am and via YouTube from 8am.  It can also be accessed as a podcast and by phone (for the cost of a local call) on 01698 755533.
