Scottish Churches House - A New Lease of Life Scottish Churches House Jubilee Appeal raises sufficient funds to enable ACTS to proceed with Phase 1 of refurbishment. PRESS RELEASE On the agenda was the Scottish Churches House Jubilee Appeal. The meeting was delighted to receive news that the Jubilee Appeal has raised sufficient funds to enable ACTS to proceed with Phase 1 of the refurbishment of Scottish Churches House. Phase 1 will substantially improve the residential accommodation at the house. We look forward to improving the facilities at Scottish Churches House and will continue to seek public support for the Jubilee Appeal in order to cover future phases of the refurbishment. Scottish Churches House is a small ecumenical retreat and conference centre, situated in a collection of properties alongside Dunblane Cathedral. Since its establishment in 1960 Scottish Churches House has played a significant part in the development of ecumenical activity in Scotland and in the engagement of the Churches with wider society. It is held in great affection by many people across the denominations and country. For further information, contact Br Stephen Smyth, General Secretary: |
