Message from Synod Moderator to Muslim Leaders
Revd John Ll Humphreys, Synod Moderator has today sent the following message to Leaders of Muslim communities in Scotland. URC ministers/ members urged to send in details of all Muslim Leaders in their communities.

As we reflect upon the terrorist incident at Glasgow Airport on Saturday, which is being linked with "extremists" I want to offer the prayerful support of the United Reformed Church in Scotland to Muslim Communities here. We appreciate that actions such as this are an affront to the Muslim community especially if it is claimed to be in their name. We also realise the potential for some to respond negatively towards members of the Muslim community, and our prayer is that this should not happen. Please accept this brief word of greeting in a spirit of peace and harmony.
